St Raphael's Hospice is a much loved service which helps the very ill enjoy their last days with us in peace and dignity, and has done so for over 25 years.

St Raphael's is under threat, and we need your help to safeguard it's future.

St Raphael's is run alongside a successful charitable hospital, St Anthony's, and relies on donations from local people and help in kind from St Anthony's. Both the hospice and hospital are run by the Catholic Order the Daughters of the Cross, who have now decided to sell off the Hospital,
putting the future of the Hospice in jeopardy.

There is no-one in the Catholic Church in the UK who has the authority to intervene, so I'm working with the Government to ask the Vatican to encourage the Daughters of the Cross to look for alternatives. One of these could be to create a new Catholic Charity, which could take over responsibility for both the Hospital and the Hospice.
